I absolutely love these characters. Members of the Dead Letter Department of the United States Postal Service based in Denver, their job is to deliver mail that has been lost or damaged so as to obscure the address. Inevitably, a heartwarming story emerges as the identities of the senders and intended recipients are revealed. Many times, there is a significant time lapse between the letter being mailed and its discovery among the dead letter files, creating a bigger mystery. Some people would think the characters are "over the top," but I prefer to think of them as endearingly eccentric. I betcha can't watch without smiling! Yes I recommend it.
