From the opening scene of this episode, I got the sense that it would have a darker tone. As the episode progressed, my belief was confirmed and this episode does stand as one of the season's best. Not only did I love the darker tone of the episode, but the thematic elements of the episode were great as well. The classic squabble over land gets its own place in the "Star Wars" universe, and we get to see an episode that utilizes "Star Wars" politics at its best. The action sequences were good, but there weren't as many as I would have expected. However, I am glad that the episode had a more pacifistic approach to the skirmish and I'm especially glad that it ended the way it did. A great political episode of the show, that continues to intrigue me in terms of its potential.
