Doesn't work on any level for a movie of this era. We never see the actual killing of any victims of one of the most poorly developed and dull serial killers of all time. Main character is a hooker who never has sex, surrounded by Strip characters who are the only interesting people in the movie. The landlord is so laughably bad I'm not gonna get into it. Weak editing with a detached soundtrack add to the torture. With only 10 minutes left I was still waiting for something to happen. It's not gritty, funny, or serious it's just a whole lot of meaningless scenes leading up to a chase scene on foot for 5 minutes that seemed like 20. Horrible acting all around. Complete waste of time, money and effort. Probably the worst movie made that year.
