It's an amazing DLC to an already amazing game, featuring the glorious return of two long lost sonic characters: Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. Now, I do have to address the flaws.
Okay, now that that's out of the way, here's the review: There's the Mania mode, the main campaign, as outstanding as ever. Now there's the Encore mode. I will say, hard ass special stages. It's like a tweaked Mania mode, usually for the better. The unlockables are great, too. I absolutely love the Blue Sphere and Puyo Puyo. The animations are smooth, the music is amazing, and the new stages are great, just like the old ones. I keep having to remind myself this is from 2017, not 1997. Sega, just announce the sequel and take my money, no questions asked.
