This anime tells the story of Tohru Honda, a young girl who is taken in by Yuki, Kyo and Shigure Sohma after her mom's death. She discovers that the Sohma family are cursed to turn into animals of Chinese zodiac if they are hugged by the opposite sex or tired. This anime adapts only Season 1 of the manga and 2019 anime. There are many differences between this anime and the manga :Akito is a man in this anime ,while she is actually a woman who was forced to live as a man ,Yuki is not present during Kyo's and Tohru's confrontation in the manga, Shigure's personality is a bit different in 2001 since the fact he is in love with Akito is removed and he is more of a comic interest in 2001 and 2001 anime made up its own ending. Overall ,very sweet ,but does not adapt many stuff from the manga.5, 5/10.
