I feel like this show never got to last very long because it came out around the time nobody but old and boring people watched TV. The younger and more savvy audience had moved on to streaming and watching things on demand. So dinosaur executives had no idea that this show was actually a hit with the later audience. Another show cancelled tragically for the same reason was Happy Endings.
Don't Trust the B is laugh out loud funny. The adventures of street smart Chloe, sweet naïve June, and self obsessed James VDB are ridiculous and over the top. My favorite episode is Sexy People. Not only because it's hilarious, but because it really shows the true chemistry between the characters. It is also how some of my best friendships work, being able to tease each other and nobody takes it seriously or gets hurt.
Another thing this show does well is cameos. It seamlessly works them into the story without it feeling forced. And just like James VDB, none of them takes themselves seriously and just let loose.
