This is one of the things that make Eastwood great as a film maker. Not every film is Dirty Harry. If it was that would be great but he likes to make passion projects (usually on the back of a box office success).
So I love that he does this. However sometimes it can be hit and miss and sometimes as an audience member it can take my brain a while to catch up with 'oh its not Dirty Harry'. This was one of those catch up films.
I liked the film, is stunning landscapes and the cast is great but its a little slow at times :)
