A nice movie about human relations and with a beautiful light that makes justice to its character whose name is the film's title. It is more about a deep depiction of Rénoir's latest years, his family complex relations, his son who would become a filmmaker and the woman who hypnotized all of them, being the painter's muse and the son's lover and future actress. Actors do a great job and art direction is precise.
