I managed to watch this, and for the most part I enjoyed the plot, but what really was hard to keep pushing through each episodes was the "playfulness" in flirting back and forth. I didn't like how he thrived on humiliating her constantly, even though the writers tried to turn it into a character building trait to make her stronger.
But it really was a bit degrading to the female lead. The male lead came more off as someone who was bordeline cold and emotionless who struggled to show their emotions rather than smart and be find nice was to be kind when he was proved wrong.
I really can say it had a lot of potential to being a much more enjoyable drama, if they just toned down the humiliating situations and the male leads reaction could have been a lot more empathetic toward her.
The cast is what made me want to watch this drama and both pulled off over dramatic roles for sure. But to do the drama justice would have been better to have a kinder connection between them.
