This used to be my favorite show.. Until Elizabeth chose Lucas Buchard..

This was one of the few shows left with wholesome REAL love and romance, fight, faith, and truth.. but in Season 8 it all changed. When calls the Heart premise was a young schoolteacher who left society to live raw & real on the frontier and fell in love with a Mountie. Now, it's about a woman who lost a lot but no more than her fighting spirit and will/ want to go outside society and live fearlessly on her own with her son. Her story has taken a turn in Season 8 and strayed completely away from the essence & heart of what fans loved most. Had she picked Nathan this story would've continued.. but she chose a saloon owner with money, no chemistry, and no interest in her son or life as a schoolteacher. The show should have ended in Season 5. The last 3 years fans were led to believe the heart of the story would continue with Nathan Grant, but in choosing Lucas Buchard, a man much like others shes rejected in the past, this story has lost all of its heart.. along with many fans.
