Warning: Spoilers
We knew that after last week's episode, this would be something memorable. It would be something that would set the course for the next couple of episodes and maybe even the entire season. I was excited, but I didn't know that I was going to walk away from this episode desperately wishing that it were already next week. Last week's episode was the best since the premiere. Now, I believe this may have taken that spot, if not replaced the premiere as the best of the season due to its incredible cat-and-mouse storyline and the return of a familiar face that left my mouth open.

There's a reason why we need to have a lot of setups before we get to treat ourselves. If we just got episodes like this every week, we would be spoiled, and nobody wants that. (Ha!) This episode felt much more earned given the build-up that the series has had beforehand, and with the incredible tension now at a boiling point, everything culminated in a satisfying meetup between the batch and their former teammate. The cat-and-mouse element of the episode was a clear highlight, and I love the fact that they're constantly trying to outdo their own techniques and doing things they wouldn't normally due since the enemy has one of their own. It adds a lot of development and layers to characters that came across as a bit one-note during their initial debut in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." The episode then culminates in the return of someone unexpected, but someone who I've wanted to see since his last appearance in the previous show, and the way they used him here gave the right amount of tease and the right amount of please. But the best part of the episode is that it gives us a lot of things to look forward to. It seems like the last couple of episodes have teased something coming up, but never to the great extend of this episode. I'm so excited to see where this all lead, and how it will factor into Omega's storyline and her development that she's in the position she is in now.

"Reunion" may be my favorite episode of the show so far. It comes down to a greatly written half hour of TV that gave me everything I expected it to, yet delivered on so much more, despite me having a few nitpicks that aren't even worth mentioning because of their almost petty-like level of relevance.
