I am a pretty huge Paul Simon fan, and I thought that this movie would just be a vanity project. It turns out that Simon really has some acting chops, and I think that "One Trick Pony" survives as a movie because of this. Not just that, but the soundtrack is really amazing, with standouts for me being "How The Heart Approaches What it Yearns" and "God Bless The Absentee", as well as the obvious hit "Late In The Evening".
