This episode contains one of the best moments of season 13 when Jack and Sam bond over containing darkness within themselves. Likewise, the monster of the week story is better than average in that it is a cool twist on the wraith monster-with a creepy actor for the guest role. Everything is engaging. But I don't know why the writers feel the need to kill off every reoccurring woman character-no matter how minor or how long ago their first appearance was. The main death in this episode is not necessary.
