Rifftrax: Rollergator (2015 Video)
Is the pleasure greater than the pain?
4 August 2021
Our intrepid Rifftrax explorers braved the filthiest straight-to-video swamp on Earth and dredged up ROLLERGATOR (1996), a kids' comedy that features a cretinous talking purple alligator. He can rap, do impressions and fit in the backpack of a detached roller-blading blonde, who for no earthly reason befriends the disgusting idiot. A female ninja shows up, and so do Martin Sheen's brother, endless power lines and an acoustic guitarist who noodles forever and drowns out most of the dialogue. He's the real hero.

Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy have witnessed the horrors of the worst that cinema has to offer, yet fail to preserve their sanity by the end of ROLLERGATOR. I haven't checked, but RIP, probably.

The pain is bad, but the jokes are great. If you can take it, you'll love it.
