This show wasn't awful but it wasn't very good, either. It seemed like it was trying to recreate the relatable slice of life esque show that Roseanne had done in the 1990s, but it was never interesting nor relatable enough to come close to hitting that peak. That said, there are worse sitcoms to kick back to, and I enjoyed the relationship between George and his mom. His family, though, not so much.
