Mr. Robot's sixth episode of the third season is entitled "eps3.5_kill-process.inc". The episode takes place immediately after the conclusion of the fifth episode with Elliot confronting Angela for her involvement in phase two.
Mr. Robot's sixth episode in the third season is the conclusion to the phase two story arc of Mr. Robot's revolution. The episode has Mr. Robot and Elliot Alderson coming to an agreement on their revolution. The revolution had been hijacked by malicious groups of the Dark Army and Tyrell Wellick. The revelation of this is reflected well on Elliot and Angela as Elliot tries to thwart the murders of E Corp employees. The episode utilizes the cinematography and direction of these scenes well. The episodes form solid shots of Elliot's altercations with Mr. Robot.
The episode has Tyrell Wellick returning and becoming a pawn of the Dark Army. The episode features Tyrell as he must execute the misdirection onto the public. The episode concludes with the devastating truth that the attack was spread out.
The complete attack was unexpected and it felt far-fetched. The Dark Army is somehow able to coordinate a large multi-pronged attack on many E-Corp facilities. This seems difficult to believe that the Dark Army would have many operatives throughout the United States. The Dark Army's numbers are never clear in the series. The only plausible explanation would be the financial crash caused by the 5/9 hack made the event easier to conduct.
