Unique post apocalyptic film

Warning: Spoilers
As a sci-fi post apocalyptic film Z for Zachariah doesn't exactly feel as such but feels more like a Nicholas Sparks type romantic love drama. This film isn't the quickest in pace and has a very slow build which might turn off a lot of people.

The acting is great, the scenery is wonderful and the characters make it compelling enough. Margot Robbie delivers one of her best performances as she looks entirely different with brown hair.

Although predictable once Chris Pine's character enters, we know and get the sense that he would cause tension. Everything which would arise later on was relatively very subtle, as was expecting some kind of big fight or eruption between Pines and Chiwetel Ejiofor's character. However nothing major really occurred. Pine was blindsided by Ejiofor as we suspected. Chris Pines' character wasn't as bad of a guy as lead to suggest. He was polite and showed manners.

Perhaps making him too nice and likeable wasn't the best decision as he was the antagonist and we were not supposed to root for him.

In the end this film isn't for everyone but is quite different and well made.
