Quacks is Crackers!

The worst thing about this show is the fact that there were no more episodes produced beyond one season. I never pictured Rory Kinnear in a comedy, but his seriousness in other roles made him all the more hilarious in this one. It's definitely in my top five of movies or TV shows that's made me laugh so hard I cried, hurt and almost pee'd my pants. Andrew Scott as Charles Dickens was brilliant! The writers were genius in the way that they overexaggerated the Victorian repression and overall ignorance of the people in their respective fields of study. It serves laugh after laugh! It's one of those shows that you will want to binge on and even if you've seen it ten times the gags are just so funny you won't be able to stop laughing! I gave it a 9 because the script/screenplay, direction, costuming, interesting historical facts (I looked a few of them up and sure enough! Those crazy Victorians! Lol!)...it was cast perfectly and the supporting characters...wow, what can I say? You'll be in anticipation at the beginning of every episode, waiting to see what kind of wacky character they're going to throw at you this time. Matthew Baynton's character is very complex and probably the funniest out of the whole cast, but Osi Okerafor in a supporting spot as Mr. Butterworth is a comedy monsoon! And as I mentioned before, Andrew Scott as Dickens is making me laugh just typing about it. You simply MUST put this on your view list. You won't regret it!
