I'm writing this out of frustration. I did not really hold much promise when I saw that this was coming to the screen. We're 4 episodes in and it's overwhelmingly as bad as the book but just a little worse. The premise is really interesting. It's what drew me to the book, sometime after it was really pushed out to the public. The issue: Y. While reading the book, "graphic novel" I most often skipped past the parts with Y. He's too immature, silly and really slows down the overall story. The character in the film version is worse. Bottom line: I can't stand the guy. I say kill him and deal with the consequences.
