Guardian of the Asterkinj was a riveting, emotional episode written by Rebecca Rosenberg and directed by The Outpost's own Jake Stormoen (Capt./Gate Marshall Garret Spears). It was especially interesting to watch a show directed by a cast member because he knows these characters inside and out and how to set the scene to get the most impact. For every answer, there are more really good questions (and so many possibilities for several more seasons, even a spin off). I would hope after The CW canceled #TheOutpost, there will be a plan to shop it to other networks with more of an appreciation for this gem of the sci-fi/fantasy genre.
