The movie is slow and artistic, but you want to find out what happens so you keep watching. The characters are odd and real at the same time. Something from a movie, but you can see that real life inspirations are there. I'm from the Connecticut suburbs, so far away from the story's premise, but I liked it. I think anyone can relate to being homesick for something from their childhood. Whether it's something you lost to gentrification or just the passing of time. It's also great that one of the main characters skateboards.
