Division Series against the underdog but ultimately victorious Boston Red Sox, these beleaguered Floridians (aka, the erstwhile "Devil Rays") seemed more like FROLICKING FISH than Major League Baseball players. Calling a decrepit dome "home," these stray Rays can be seen to represent nearby Dizzy World (as the nearest MLB nine to the Rodent Ranch). Like D-World, the Rays' business model relies heavily upon exploiting unknown youngsters for near-minimum wages. Because World Series Championships cannot be rigged like the cartoon category voting in Tinsel Town's Oscar fiasco, the Rays have NEVER won baseball's top prize.
