. . . 2021 Tampa Bay Rays. During their recent A. L. Division Series against the underdog but ultimately victorious Boston Red Sox, these beleaguered Floridians (aka, the erstwhile "Devil Rays") seemed more like FROLICKING FISH than Major League Baseball players. Calling a decrepit dome "home," these stray Rays can be seen to represent nearby Dizzy World (as the nearest MLB nine to the Rodent Ranch). Like D-World, the Rays' business model relies heavily upon exploiting unknown youngsters for near-minimum wages. Because World Series Championships cannot be rigged like the cartoon category voting in Tinsel Town's Oscar fiasco, the Rays have NEVER won baseball's top prize.
