The Big One (1997)
7/10
A Rough Draft Documentary

"The Big One" is a videography of Michael Moore's book tour. He essentially killed two birds with one stone: book tour and film. Moore goes after his favorite targets: corporations. His tactics are very in-your-face. Some can say he ambushes companies whereas others may say he's doing a public service by outing these companies, yet giving the management a chance to respond--albeit a spontaneous unprepared chance. Having seen about half a dozen Michael Moore documentaries, I'd say this one was the least polished, still, the message was clear and it was that corporations need to know that what is done in the dark will soon come to light.
