At first I thought this was going to be another one of Hollywood's attempt at Blaxploitation in a Western, but I admit, I was impressed. This was a Good story,, I had fun with the characters, acting was solid, surprising scenes as they suggest in the introduction these people really existed, so you carry that with you during the film. Sure interpret that you how you like, but there's definitely some interpreting to do and if you know your American history you appreciate the historical elements, which are mostly accurate. In many scenes I was impressed by the action and stunts, there was the occasional and well timed comedy relief. It's an all around fun movie that we enjoyed from beginning to end. If you like Western's grab some popcorn, you'll be entertained with this one. I'll watch in again.
