. . . by the name of J. Audubon Wilberforce Huntington James James Vanderbilt Morrison Morrison Beauregard Van Pelt Weather Bee Xavier George Du Pea. Constantly lashing out at the world which saddled him with such an unwieldy moniker, Jay tries to bamboozle the wildlife in his charge to perform his own park maintenance duties. Like a certain recent Oval Office Occupant, this sorry excuse for a human bean spouts lying aphorisms such as "Cheaters never prosper," when his personal failings prove the opposite to be true. In Real Life, Fate strikes down malingering miscreants such as Jay with volcanic eruptions, meteor showers, piranha attacks, toppling construction equipment or wardrobe malfunctions. Because IN THE BAG is a animated short, however wrong-headed, Ranger Jay escapes with his perfidy intact.
