(some spoilers)
Take the movie as it is: mostly slapstick humor, scattered funny jokes, & some drama. There was a great Chris Rock cameo & Slade's answering machine bit still rings true to some people's modern-day voicemails. Not a lot of late 80's movies can make us laugh like this today, you can still relate to this if you grew up in a hard neighborhood.
