I liked this show well enough but god did it have a lot of issues, pacing was awfully slow, it's magic system didn't want to explain itself much if at all, it felt like it ended 5 different times, speaking on endings why did it feel like every fight was cut short and never once got focused on properly. The only one that felt acknowledged was the first Unlimited Blade Works fight. And that was mostly ruined by the last minute convenience and the dialogue, I swear if I have to head 'hero of justice' one more time imma flip, there MUST have been a better way to phrase that which doesn't sound so stupid. Even if it is a translation thing they should have rewritten the sentence. But my biggest issue was with what I call 'The Gotham problem'; when people are constantly being betrayed, making alliances and surviving when they should just be killed(I can't count the amount of times this happens in this show), it destroys all tension and just makes the show feel cheap.
I also was not a fan of the final climax as I think a more personal story than 'I want to end the world because people suck' would have been a nicer end, I just feel like Keeping caster as a sympathetic bbeg with a fair motivation but deadly methods or moving the First Unlimited Blade Works fight to the end would have been a more satisfying conclusion.
Despite all this I did have a good time with this show, the MAIN twist was super interesting and well set up, the fights(when they actually focused on them) were pretty cool, The characters were pretty well realised and overall the show was quite pretty. I would say it's worth a watch as a casual thing.
