When a teenage girl is found dead in a park slit with stones on her eyes, Lisbon finds other murders with the same MO in the local police. Patrick asks her to use her instincts to choose the main suspect for her. She selects Richard Haibach and the team investigate him believing he might be the San Joaquin serial-killer. When Jane watches Karen Cross interviewing Wainwright and the journalist and blogger James Panzer about the killer, he invites Panzer to join him in the investigation. But Patrick has a secret agenda.
"Blinking Red Light" is an excellent episode of "The Mentalist". The duel between Patrick Jane and the witty blogger James Panzer is magnificent. The conclusion of the episode is awesome. My vote is eight.
