Motive is a Canadian procedural with a twist, not unlike Without A Trace; in this show, there is a critical introduction to every episode, wherein footage is shown, and one individual is labeled "killer" while another is labeled "victim".
The episode then unfolds after the credits with the victim being dead, and the two cops that are stars of the series on the spot to investigate, Kristen Lehman & Louis Ferreira the key stars.
Lauren Holly plays the Govt. Coroner, and is really great in her role
The essence of the show is to determine what the MOTIVE of the killer was in each episode.
It makes for great TV. Addictive, even.
