Warning: Spoilers
. . . a San Francisco vigilante lynch mob decides at the conclusion of FRISCO KID that a life with goody two-shoes Jean Bare-It would be the proverbial "fate worse than death" for title character Bart Morgan, of the dog-eat-dog credo. The mob realizes that Morgan's life will become a Living Hell, with newspaper editor Jean constantly correcting his grammar, reuniting his infinitives and propping up his participles. If there's anything that galls a man more than a tummy ache, it's having a spouse who will criticize his diction in public. Therefore, it's not too hard to see why the Justice League remands the condemned Kid to Jean's eternal custody.
