I like that Diane is the loan shark, it's a role that's historically filled by a man, it makes for a more interesting storyline. It's a really gritty story, loan sharking seemed to be a hot topic in the 90's, only nowadays the loan sharks are so called reputable businesses.
Maureen O'Farrell cuts a menacing figure as Diane, complete with her leather trousers, Diane truly is a monster of a character.
Libby Davison looks wonderfully suntanned, clearly she's had a recent holiday. I love how ruthless Liz is here.
