This story seemed to be very similar as Disney's Princess and the Frog for some reason. The self-absorbed prince marrying for money, the poor working girl whose drive comes from a dead father, the wealthy southern belle that is competing for the prince's affections. All they needed was a frog. However, the movie lacked the Disney charm. This did remind me of a Disney Channel TV movie though. It's not terrible, just kind of boring. No true villain, no grand romantic story, no comedy, just kind of there.
