When doing a remake, its best to make it different to the original so it feels fresh. That's exactly what director Len Wiseman did. Unfortunately, as it turns out, neither the public nor the critics really liked it. That's such a pity, as I really enjoyed this.

'Total Recall' is an action-packed adventure thriller than never allows you time to catch your breath. It is non-stop action from the moment Douglas goes to Total Recall (spelt Rekall in the movie). The transition from ordinary life to entering Total Recall is so seamless, you almost can't tell!
The film features a great production design, great stunts, amazing visual, good sound effects, and lots and lots of action. I found the film super exciting and thought Colin Farrell did an excellent job as the protagonist. Action chick Kate Beckinsale stars as the film's antagonist Lori.
If sci-fi action gets you going, then 'Total Recall' is totally the right choice! This is a high-octane adrenaline rush!!
