A massive mistake
15 April 2022
A rare big screen adaptation of a Wodehouse novel, but in the hands of GOSFORD PARK scribe Julian Fellowes this is a total dog of a movie, one of the worst I've seen in a while. Sam Rockwell mugs constantly, the supporting actors are miscast in their roles, and the decision to set it in some kind of pseudo-modernist 1930s era (complete with modern songs) is a massive mistake.
