Gods and Monsters and... a second season?

Warning: Spoilers
There has to be, right? I thought it was pretty evident after a few episodes that this wasn't going to be the "mini series" Disney says it is.

I guess I don't understand all of the criticism here. Yes, it ends with another visually splendid CGI battle, but there was enough weight to the situation that I didn't mind it at all. If anything, it's one of the better finales Marvel has done. I loved the Khonshu v. Ammit fight as well as the battle between Marc/Steven, Layla and Harrow. The VFX all looked really good and I was surprised it was so well directed!

I was a bit worried the show was going to feel too safe, but it didn't always feel that way, and I like that it didn't at all tie into anything else in the MCU. It really didn't feel like an MCU show at any point to me. The acting was all great. Isaac was incredible as both Steven and Marc, and I ended up loving Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy as well. F. Murray Abraham was an excellent Khonshu.

Overall, great series. One of the best Disney+ originals in my opinion. My only hope for the second season is that we get more Moon Knight action.
