One of Keaton's top five short films, "Cops" manages to put more in 18 minutes than his contemporaries could dream of doing. His comedic grace, athleticism, and style is amazing. It is hard to believe what other reviewers have written about this film: it promotes terrorism, it is dull, it doesn't deserve the critical acclaim it has received (as if it's up to you to determine this). Some of the reviews are so poorly written, they are almost unintelligible. Thank goodness Buster Keaton did not live to read such garbage.
