I read the book Irena's Children first, which was amazing, btw. The movie simplifies her often messy personal life, but I think it is actually quite well done. Anna Paquin is amazing, of course, and the other actors are great as well. It is not top-tier production quality, but very good. It made me laugh and cry, but most of all, it did what all good movies should (imo) do: it made me wonder "Would I do the right thing?" This is a very important question to ask ourselves. Irena Sendler should be remembered and honored far more than she is.
