. . . stolen from various earlier pictures, including Charlie Chaplin's live-action feature MODERN TIMES and several Popeye animated shorts. Certainly, had the cheap "Poverty Row" Dizzy Rodent Ranch paid a couple bucks in royalties for Ray Scott's "Powerhouse" music, they would have had a more engaging piece, as well as providing more proof for also ripping off Warner Bros. One of my relatives invented most of the safety equipment used on stamping machines in the U. S. auto industry, which was fairly pervasive by the late 1950's. Therefore, a far more credible setting for HOW TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT AT WORK would be the American coal mine racket, in know-nothing states such as West Virginia and Kentucky. These backwards, fourth-world locales are just as dangerous Today as they were in the 1800's.
