Review of Moonhaven

Moonhaven (2022)

It's my type of show but no

I like futuristic sci-fi series so this was right down my alley. The premise of the show is decent at best, on par with most shows like it and better than a few, but that's about it. The acting is slightly better than the dialogue but the dialogue's horrendous, one that thinks it's better than it actually is, so that doesn't say a lot about the acting. There's a lot of what's supposed to be witty or funny comments but none of them have the desired effect and come of pretentious and over-compensatory. The graphics aren't that great either, slick and futuristic but you can tell it's cgi so it looks. It doesn't seem believable too(yes I know it's sci-fi) like the tech exists to build an inhabitable community on the moon with an AI computer that can read minds and solve climate change, all this made from wood and natural resources but a trip to the moon still needs to be manually flown and takes days? But as I said, the premise of the show is okay as far as the genre goes. It's not a show I'd recommend but might keep watching because I like the genre and I don't like leaving things halfway, I always try to find something I like but I don't think it's worth a watch unless you're a really big fan of the genre and looking for something new, and even then you'll probably still get disappointed.
