I could deal with this version not being particularly true to Jane Austen but since there are better movies I can let that pass. Wild anachronisms? Ok, call it "historical fantasy". Drinking? Not crazy about it. Peeing under a tree? Gross, but what is a drinking woman to do, wait for the next privy? No, the fatal flaw for me was Frederick. Zero charisma, personality or any appeal really. It's OK he's not handsome but he contorts his face weirdly too often. Not worth mooning over.
