The show is not THAT bad as the 1-star reviews would make you think it is, but the biggest problem, by far, is the lead actress, Morfydd Clark, who is absolutely horrible in every scene! How this person got past casting is beyond me... Again, the show has a lot of potential and maybe, with time, will turn into something great, but in its current form and with the main actress performing like an amateur, you won't be seeing that anytime soon. And people need to stop comparing this with Game of Thrones, two vastly different budgets and two vastly different casts. And yes, RoP took some liberties with the narrative and the characters, things that you won't find in Tolkien's lore, but that doesn't mean it's a 100% bad thing, you never know what could come up from this.
