I don't know whether I find this as the worst episode of this season, and series. Yet, it's not the best or one of my favourites either.
Foremost, that this didn't seem like a Scooby-Doo episode as there was no mystery, no villain and bad guy responsible - that whole thing was a virtual reality game.
Also, Velma seemingly taking up the spotlight throughout most in this episode - even the rest of Mystery Gang not knowing what she's been doing and been.
Bit of positive aspects like the return of professor Dr. Ostwald from the High-tech House of Horror episode. And while showing Velma his virtual reality game, references of Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot. And I like the chase scene soundtrack "Holiday" by Otherstarpeople.
Quite a bland episode to end a beloved Scooby-Doo series.
