I was never a fan of Al. He seemed corny beyond words. I like the diversity of the cast, more characters, more room for intrigue. Mason Spark, is a stoic blank slate, so far. And sadly, Raymond Lee, might be over his skis a bit. Hes likeable, and I hope he grows more comfortable, and a tad less wooden, in the lead
Bottom line, this show will rise or fall on the quality of the writing. Basic premise and overall cast looks to be a winner. And lets be honest, the original, is now looking a bit long in the tooth. The second episode, was much more entertaining, and easier to follow......
