Our protagonist is a man named Stray (Mojean Aria) a boy from Idaho who makes a living street fighting in Miami. He is small but tough. His abilities are noted by Estelle (Kate Bosworth) who is in charge of crime in the city. Estelle convinces Stray to work for under. Cuda (Antonio Banderas) will be his mentor. Cuda has just been released from jail. They are the guys who show up after collection efforts fail. The film the concentrates on Cuda as another bad guy protagonist. He has a rocky relationship with his teen daughter (Vivian Milkova) who lives with her mother (Kika Georgiou). Cuda befriends a young runaway girl (Zolee Griggs) from Atlanta. He helps her, only to see her disappear. Stray becomes involved with a club girl named Lexi (Alexis Ren) the film's main eye candy.
This is a story about a hard road followed by justice and redemption. I liked the characters and their interaction. This is a decent crime/action film but not a classic.
