From the overdramtics and overactive, its a straight up bad show. 90% of the series is focused on "rebellious teens who disobey their parents" and half the time, not over a serious matter! Some examples include teens wanting to follow a certain career path that conflicts with what the parents want, and rather than it end with the parents accepting their teens decision and them living happily ever after like the logical ending would be for most shows, it ends with the parents praying to Guadalupe to get their way! The parents are frequently portrayed as the protagonists when they're everything but, but that's a lot of propaganda/narcissistic behaviors, after all. Even in episodes with dark subject matter like a parent being straight up abusive and pushing their teen to suicide, the end message of the show will STILL paint the parent as the victim and that the underlying message is "listen to your parents always"
