I don't know why this one isn't talked about more but it's ILL at it's zany best . Ricky gets the idea that Lucy is a kleptomaniac because she hasn't told him she is chairwoman of her clubs annual bazaar . She's getting things to sell and hiding them all in the hall closet . She also takes Fred's prized cuckoo clock since Ethel asked her to have it auctioned off. Watch for the bird calling scene! Ethel knows what Lucy is doing as her friend and club member but hasn't told Fred either. Ricky is genuinely concerned and gets a psychiatrist ( listen for his pronunciation!) to come over and try to help. A much better one than a later psychiatrist he called on . Fred clues Ricky in on Kleptomania saying it's not her fault it's a disease but he does want his cuckoo clock back!
From there it's even zanier as Lucy and Ethel pretend to be bank robbers! The ending is a little silly but in keeping with the tone of the episode so it works.
