Lucy wants to join Ricky and his band on a bus tour. Unable to convince Ricky she tries to join the band with her saxophone. That doesn't work either. She finally decides to pretend she has a secret lover. Ricky believes it until he realizes the hat and gloves are Fred's ( it couldn't be him
Ricky says) . But he gets the idea to get even with Lucy by getting his buddy in the musician's union to send over some musicians to hide in the closet and give her a scare and it does! She goes missing for hours and Ethel scolds him for his prank . Ricky is worried the phone rings it's his buddy telling him he couldn't find anyone! He runs out calling for Lucy. Back at the musicians we see Lucy with all the guys and they along with Lucy get the last laugh! Perfect!
