While watching the young messiah I noticed a lot of key important aspects but I also noticed some information that might be misleading in a way to certain people and followers of Jesus Christ. We notice the main characters Jesus and his young age and his story but how can
we really tell if that's the truth? And the way of finding that answer is scripture.
In the movie we know how Jesus and his family, mother Mary and Fake father Joseph before finding out who his real father is later on in the story, embark on a journey back to Nazareth from Egypt after a sort of evil and tragedy happened and Jesus was blamed for it. And young Jesus was there to accept what happened but still with confusion he resurrected the same enemy that tried to beat him up. And which brought wow, people talked and assume. So that is when king Herod causes the death of the young Jesus which brought worry to the family.
While in the movie we notice few aspects that go back to Jesus and what we view and what we understand from scripture and knowledge. In my opinion i know that a book from the Bible that will answer many questions and help better understand this movie will be the book of "Luke". Knowing that is where it talks about most who Jesus is and has somewhat a connection with the movie.
And when we think about the evil in the movie we notice how the devil tried to make his way into Jesus' life and corrupt him with such horrible images. But what I recall is not how Satan or what satan said to him and showed him, way to different visions. But Jesus was aware of the evilness around him trying to make his way in. And there is also much symbolism that is shown in the movie that resulted in evil. For example the snake that appears a lot around king Herod.
And which makes sense due to the fact that the snake in (Genesis) was the result of evil and leading Adam and Eve to eat from the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge.
Overall the film was good and gave many people a visual interpretation of Jesus at a young age. One part that really caught my attention was towards the end when Jesus finds out the truth and who he truly is, and just the way he handles it he gives he's full trust and life to god knowing that he is the son of god and his father is god and he is truly a blessing from god and the holy spirits.
