Five long years since Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough. How have we survived without another instalment of a franchise that shouldn't probably have progressed past the Neve Campbell/Denise Richards film, but has instead churned out now four - yeah, count 'em, FOUR - sequels.
Pretty much every film is the same. Blue Bay is a hotbed of sex, murder, corrupt cops and double-crossing. Oh, and some triple-crossing. In this one, as always, there's a girl from the right side of the tracks, one from the wrong side, a dogged detective (this time played by John Schneider), trumped-up rape charges and a love triangle. Except this one is a quadrangle.
The originality in this franchise left with Neve and Denise. Each successive franchise stretches the bounds of credulity. This one is no different.
