A Fan Film That Puts All That Merchandise To Good Use!
29 November 2022
Gremlins: A Christmas Nightmare is a homemade fan fiction that puts all of those Gremlins collectibles to good use.

It might not have had a budget that allows for the special effects mastery of the feature length originals.

But for one guy, working with what he has got, it's really not that bad a job.

At the very least it remains true to the original tenets introduced in the 1984 film.

With the handheld Gremlin puppet really being used to his advantage.

And a few homages to the original that you've just got to respect.

The attention to detail, and use of licensed merchandise, really to render this a lot better than it could have been.

You can tell that the creator (who also stars in the film) is a tried and true fan, who put his passion into this project.

And, for that, you've got to love it!

Even if it is relatively simplistic in it's execution.
